Margie Rachelson Samuels is an experienced and award-winning artist and teacher. Samuels studied fine arts at Brandeis University, Harvard University, the Arts Students League in New York, and the New Jersey Visual Arts Center. Additionally, she has studied with the following noted artists: Elaine De Kooning, Skip Lawrence, Mitchell Siporin, Nancy Korde, Don Andrews and Pat Dews.

Samuels has her own studio and gallery where she also teaches watercolor classes for adults and teens. Workshops on specialty topics are held several times a year.

As an artist, Samuels is a full member of the Essex Watercolor Club and the Livingston Arts Association, and an associate member of the New Jersey Watercolor Society. Samuels shows her work with these groups as well as in other juried group and solo shows.
